SOCA/WOMS 290/490: Women in Poverty
Computer Conference

The students in this class will be required to participate in an email discussion of
class material with other members of the class, including students on other
campuses.
We will spend time in class getting started in this new form of
communication. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to use the campus
computer network to access the world-wide "information super-highway" in order
to locate information resources and possibly bring people from other places into
our discussions.

You will be expected to contribute to the computer conference twice a week. I
will tabulate your number of contributions at the end of each month.
