  • The Department welcomes Ms Maria Giovana Sica as Lecturer of Italian. Ms Sica comes to the University from the Università della Calabria and teaches Introductory Italian.

  • We welcome back Ms Nidia Diaz (Spanish) and Ms Mary Iaquinta (Intermediate Italian) as Associate Lecturers.

  • The following German Studies presented their Senior Projects publicly on Friday, 2 December 2005, in the Galbraith Room:

    • Ms Sarah Pergande, "What Does the Future Hold for Germany? The 2005 Election"
    • James Thelen, "German Immigrant Culture and the Influence of Religion; Cultural Preservation and Changes in Racine"
    • Jens Wisse, "How has the Meaning of Public Health Changed in Germany Since 1945?"
