- Write an answer to exercise E on page 26.

Project Team Homework (10 points)
- Team Homework: Create a system request document for your course project.
- Team Homework: Create a document that specifies your team's ground rules.
Working in teams is rewarding but challenging. Team ground rules can help
make a team more effective. Your team ground rules should consist of at
least the following parts:
-
Meetings (e.g., rules for calling a meeting, meeting format, time, meeting
assessment).
-
Rules of Behavior (e.g., Missing meetings, late to meetings, conflict, talking
too much, completing assignments on time)
-
Monitoring and counseling (i.e., how will you solve problems with the team or
a member...what steps will you use?)
-
Assessment (i.e., How will you assess each member's performance?). Ultimately,
I need to assign a grade (on a 100 pt. scale) to individual performances in
the group. How will you provide input so that I can assign a fair grade?
You will have an opportunity to change the team rules during the semester in
case they need improvement. Please see the following web sites for more
information about effective teams.
