Maria and I took a trip to Baracoa, Cuba, as part of a humanitarian-aid delegation of the St. Augustine-Baracoa Friendship Association. The purpose of the delegation was to deliver badly needed medicine and school supplies and assess the progress of the Association's many partnerships in Baracoa - including several schools, a high-risk maternity center, a center for the blind and the aged and a dental clinic.
