    Questions about Creative Measures

How many creative measure should we complete in this semester? Can we write about what every we want or is there some topics picked out for us? How long should they by?

kiel -- good questions! we started talking about this in class on friday and will continue in today's class. it's not about quantity but most importantly, the quality of the creative measure. your creative measure must relate to the course (race, crime, law). you need to email me what you would like to explore and get my approval before starting. you cannot do something that you are doing for another class, both past and present.

    Class Journal

For our journals, are we supposed to write on something that has to do with the journals on dear habermas, or about what class was and what we learned? . . .

    student's observation

sarah -- good question. your class journal is your recordkeeping of your involvement in the class; for example, if you contributed a different example to one of the discussion questions discussed in class today, you might want to add that to your journal. don't just note "came to class" because that won't give me any idea of what you did in class.
